Senior Executive, GL & Tax

• Responsible for Inter Company Reporting complied with the Finance's SOP and Standing Instruction.
• Involve on General Ledger financial closing and review of accounts
• Responsible for management reporting to ensure comply with applicable accounting and reporting standards.
• Responsible for taxation reporting and ensure comply with law and regulation
• Support on Accounts Receivable

Description

• Fully responsible for Inter Company function and reporting in accordance with the established accounting standards and finance policies. Ensure timely and accurate intercompany reconciliations
• To review and approve the monthly journals in relation to the Inter Company, according to the Finance policies and accounting standards.
• Ensure Balance Sheet accounts that have been assigned are reconciled on a periodic and timely basis to verify that all items are correctly posted to the account within the guidelines of the stated purpose of the account
• To review and provide commentaries on monthly financial results and performance
• To be involved on yearly audit, liaise with external auditors on any audit issues related to job function.
• To work closely with business unit in preparing and analyze monthly Profit and Loss, Invested Capital Rolling Forecast for finance manager review.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management meeting financial presentation slides for finance manager review.
• To support on Accounts Receivable, Credit Note Request Memo review
• Assist on yearly Mplan/budgeting
• To review provision tax and deferred tax computation
• To review and complete annual tax return
• Assist in preparation of SST quarterly filling and ensure filing with Custom is on time.
• To set up appropriate policies and internal control procedures in relation to the Inter Company.
• Monitor and analyze the team work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Working with own team and/or with other process teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities

Profile

• Professionally qualified accountant
• Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting & Finance
• Experience in using AX system, other accounting system e.g. BPC is preferred
• Good user of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Minimum 5 years work experience in accounting and finance related roles, preferably in the accounting reporting.
