Description of business unit

The Regulatory Reporting, Controls and Operations (RRCO) team sits within the Group Performance Reporting (GPR) function within Group Finance. RRCO is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of supervisory and statistical regulatory reports, for multiple licenced entities, to multiple regulators in a controlled, timely and efficient manner. It is also accountable for the delivery of non-routine regulatory requests and the development of new regulatory reporting requirements.

RRCO operates in an environment which demands the highest of standards. Submission of high quality and timely regulatory returns is a fundamental requirement of the Group's banking licence. RRCO is a professional, proactive & dynamic team with significant engagement with colleagues in all key functions such as business partners, finance, risk and treasury to ensure the accuracy of returns.

Purpose of the Role

The Change Support Team (CST), within RRCO, is responsible for the development and delivery of strategic reporting solutions to meeting new, and amended, regulatory reporting requirements and to deliver of Bank change projects across regulatory reporting processes.

We are looking for an experienced CoRep professional with the capability, appetite and leadership skills to operate effectively across all levels within the Group. The successful candidate will be joining a highly engaged and motivated team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor and manage upstream regulatory reporting change and developments, and drive the delivery of strategic reporting solutions.
  • Lead the RRCO engagement with Bank change project steering/Working Committees, including challenging involvement where demand is not legitimately within remit of RRCO.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Manage risks across CST processes including maintaining an effective control framework, ensuring deliverables have appropriate controls, governance, documentation and adhere to relevant standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other Divisions and teams such as Group Treasury, Group Market & Liquidity Risk, Group Risk, Decision Science, UK Treasury, UK Finance, Group Finance and Regulatory Relations to ensure we are connected across the Group and that the reporting and regulatory agenda remains elevated and supported at the most senior level.

Work collaboratively with Group Change (GTCS) and the GPR TecWorks teams to design and deliver new reporting solutions to successfully implement regulatory reporting change, process improvement and engagement across critical Group Change delivery projects

This job can be done anywhere in the ROI with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration. Exact frequency to be agreed with manager.

Essential Qualifications

CoRep reporting experience within the banking / financial services industry is preferable.

  • The role holder must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to be proactive and delivery focused, with the ability manage a range of competing priorities and tight delivery timelines.
  • A highly credible communicator with the ability to influence across multiple senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep experience and knowledge of CoRep reporting processes
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Strong evidence of business acumen, decision-making and strategic execution to deliver the objectives of the Finance Division and support the overall Group strategy.
