Description

Lead in all financial reporting risk and control activities, including the SOX framework and management testing function.Develop the risk based internal control framework and risk reporting in line with business aimsOversee the SOX team and provide assurance to management as to the the design and operating effectiveness of SOX Controls. Manage the locally outsourced internal controls testing provider. Identify and implement continuous improvementsImplement technology solutions which are scalable in anticipation of future growth Support and develop the SOX team to deliver a a long-term results-oriented approach with business partnering in mind.Support the SOX team by encouraging a positive work environment, leading on planning, execution, and reporting phases of audits or special projects.

Profile

Recent experience working in a Top 6 Audit firmIn-depth SOX knowledge with an understanding of general accounting and audit procedures Demonstrable experience of working with businesses in an agile environment as they experience change, transformation and a disruption. Proven track record in leading and managing audit teams and complex projects.Ability to liaise, negotiate and engage with external auditorsExperience of engaging the business via training and awareness of SOX initiatives and compliance. Excellent communication skills and with the ability to present to senior business stakeholdersAbility to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team whilst maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
