Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the governance of funding, investing and analytics of the balance sheet. This includes
- Providing Business Treasury expertise for delivery and compliance of Citi's Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework for banking book portfolios across the EMEA region and become key contact for business and treasury teams.
- Support standardization and rollout of best practices for FTP including identifying and delivering process improvements, enhancing controls, and optimizing the tools used.
- Lead on regional delivery of transfer pricing workstreams such as FTP framework updates, strategic system implementations and changes in response to market and regulatory developments.
- Conduct the periodic reviews for key FTP components and hedging parameters and manage related action plans.
- Contribute to the Operating Plan, forecasting and CCAR processes, especially with reference to Treasury balance sheet activities.
- Maintain active partnership with ICG businesses, Finance; Markets Treasury, Legal Entity Treasury and Risk Management functions to achieve EMEA specific Balance Sheet priorities and returns targets
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and independently handle ad hoc analysis requests from management and businesses.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned in relation to transfer pricing, hedging and balance sheet management and optimization.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Knowledge / Experience: - 5-10 years of experience in Finance and/or Treasury
- Must have advanced analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to see the big picture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Knowledge of Balance Sheet Management, and/or Funds Transfer Pricing principles
- Well-developed aptitude with databases, spreadsheets, and other applications
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a proactive work ethic and be a team player
Education: - Bachelor's degree, post graduate studies are a plus
- Prior Treasury and/or Finance function experience required
