The role takes responsibility for specified monthly and weekly financial support activities, as well as working collaboratively with the other Finance Assistant and other members of the finance team in the preparation of reports, returns and ad hoc activities as directed

My client is an international technology company with exciting plans for further growth. Their head office is based by Canary Wharf in East London and this role is full time in the office.
Description
As the Finance Assistant you will be responsible for the following:
- Review & Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable balances
- Send out SOA to customers and chase up debt
- Meeting with customers who are not responding to SOA
- Monthly closing and reporting on Accounts Receivable accounts, ensuring errors are identified and resolved
- Escalate problem customers
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with group quarterly submissions
- Assist with posting journals
- Monthly reconciliation of Accounts Payable
- Process receipts; booking receipts into Yardi allocating them appropriately
- Weekly preparation of Aged receivables report
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and weekly cash flow reports and bank reconciliations as necessary
- Assist in the preparation of VAT and Tax returns
Profile
As the Finance Assistant you must have the following:
- Experience within a similar role (essential)
- Excellent communication skills (essential)
- Desire to learn and progress (essential)
- Actively studying ACCA/CIMA (desirable)
