Semi Senior - Outsourced Accounting Services
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our expanding Outsourced Accounting team. We have a growing client portfolio and provide a holistic service to start-up and dynamic growing clients. Current client portfolio includes companies from the ICT/Pharmaceutical/Construction/Retail and Service sectors.
You will be self-motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and have the ability to plan, control and complete all financial & accounting engagements for our growing diverse portfolio of clients. You will have direct access to the Management Team including Partners and the ability to provide a valued opinion within the team. Excellent opportunities exist for ambitious and driven candidates to progress within the firm.
Main responsibilities:
- preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and cashflow forecasts with appropriate variance analysis and business commentary for discussion with client;
- preparation of financial statements for audit exempt clients and liaising directly with client auditors on any matters arising;
- access to and training on a number of accounting systems;
- assist in maintaining and developing client relationships;
- working to continuously improve and refine processes;
- provide guidance and training to new trainees:
- liaise with other functions within the company acting as a finance point of contact; and
- managing assignments within appropriate budget and resource allocations.
Skills and attributes:
- 1 - 3 years' experience required;
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or similar qualification) or Accounting Technician Qualification;
- working knowledge of monthly reconciliations and identifying opportunities for development within existing control procedures;
- strong technical knowledge;
- capable of working on your own initiative;
- ambitious and want to pursue a career in practice;
- team player with excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills; and
- record of managing a portfolio of client accounts simultaneously.
