What you will be responsible for:

As Senior Associate you will:

  • Experience with settlements experience and experience to work U.K. hours.
  • Take initiative to participate and/ or lead targeted projects as needed
  • Take direction from others to complete assigned tasks
  • Assist in the remediation of client service issues through closure
  • Continuously develop knowledge of core products, process, financial markets, technology, regulatory obligations and operating model changes; understand impact to your role and responsibilities

What we value:

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Basic understanding of Accounting, Custody, Fund Administration
  • Basic understanding of Sub-Custody and International Markets, Securities, Cash Transaction Processing protocols, knowledge of global market processing requirements
  • Knowledge of internal State Street back office applications such as GTM, IIP, SMAC, GSMAC, MYVIEW, IBS, Hogan
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, working knowledge of Micorsoft tools
  • The candidate must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Requires strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and must have solid time management skills
  • The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with Senior Management of State Street Corporation
  • Experience with conversion or transformation projects is preferable
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree - undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, with a strong academic background.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Services Industry
