Sewell Wallis are currently working with a well known business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant into their Head Office team.

Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant with and reporting into the Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include:-

Preparing monthly financial accounts within agreed deadlines
Budgeting and monthly forecasting
Ensuring accurate monthly reporting
Taking ownership of the balance sheet
Preparing complex journals
Financial analysis
Maintaining and developing a strong controls environment
Preparing quarterly audit reviews
Completing VAT returns
Working with the wider finance teams in the UK and overseas

Requirements

Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
Solid reporting skills
Excellent communication skills
