Markets Treasury Technology is looking to hire a senior Risk Business Analyst, responsible for managing Risk programs for the Markets Treasury business. In this role, the candidate will manage the business-technology interactions, manage regulatory commitments, and drive transformation of the risk infrastructure for the MT business.

The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of the Treasury and Fixed Income domains, coupled with deep project management and leadership skills. Experience managing complex systems in a fast-paced environment is required. This role will interface with key business and risk stakeholders globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions and manage delivery of Key Risk projects & programs for the Markets Treasury business.
  • Defining business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Managing priorities, coordinating, and joining the dots between various Risk and Regulatory teams involved in these initiatives, and project managing the implementation of projects.
  • Working with key stakeholders in the business to develop strategy and solutions, for business to comply with key front office risk reporting frameworks.
  • Interactions with various cross functional teams like Ocean, XiP, and Finance Platforms etc. to develop plans around strategic flow/store of Risk data.
  • Co-ordinate with various development teams for implementations/rollout of relevant features.
  • This is a hands-on role that will offer exposure to the full testing life cycle, whilst working closely with the front office business and development teams across the globe.
  • Good communications skills and ability to put forward arguments persuasively.
  • Developing Talent: Mentoring and coaching junior members of the wider team

Essential Experience/Skills
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with specific focus on Risk.
  • Excellent knowledge of Rates & Foreign Exchange products.
  • Good understanding of Treasury and Banking book concepts.
  • Knowledge of Emerging Markets and their peculiarities, nuances is preferable.
  • Excellent project management capabilities. Demonstrate expertise on delivering medium-large global projects to traders without time/cost overruns.
  • Proficiency with MS Project or equivalent project management software & approaches.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with front-office stakeholders.
  • Intermediate/Expert on Agile development lifecycle, conversant with tools like JIRA, Kanban, Scrum boards etc.
  • The Candidate needs to be self-driven and have a problem-solving attitude.
  • Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree required. Masters is preferred.
