Accountant Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity for an accounts administrator to join a world class machinery company based in Stafford for a 12 month contract with potential to extend. You will be responsible for supporting the accountant and helping support the transactional activities. If you're looking for a learning opportunity that will experience being in an accounting role, supporting the operations and cross functional teams, then this may be the role for you!
Benefits:
- 12 month contract with potential to extend
- Monday - Friday (Half day friday)
- Full time position
Requirements:
- Confident working with microsoft office
- Comfortable handling data
- Experience in closing books
- Technical accounting skills such as understanding capital and expense
- Good analytical skills
- Using excel to analyze and powerpoint to present data
- Knowledge of MFG Pro or similar
- The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing accounting environment
- The candidate will be a key team player
- The candidate will hold excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Analyze monthly results and compare against budget and report any variances
- Expenses both variable and period
- Work closely with the business in reporting and getting their input for forecasts
- Work closely with the business in preparation of accounting letters
- Financial review of accounting letters
- Track progress of request for investment
- Support the business on leases and contract reviews
