As Assistant Accountant you will be working with the management accountant and Finance Manager on key business decisions and assisting with month end management accounts.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include:

• Assisting with monthly management accountants
• Supporting with prepayments and accruals
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Working with the Management Accountant with budgeting and forecasting
• Purchase and Sales Ledger
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
• Adhoc support as required by the Finance Manager

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant will have:

• Experience working within a finance function
• A good working knowledge of Sage 50 is beneficial
• Confident user of Excel
• Studying towards relevant qualifications AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• AAT qualified/degree educated or equivalent
