Expense Insights Center – Assistant Vice President

Job Description:

The Assistant Vice President, FP&A will report to the VP, FP&A Expense Insights Center and will play a critical role providing overall FP&A Support, Leadership and Strategic Insights, located in Bangalore. The individual will be focused on technology tools used for financial planning and reporting. The incumbent will also play a critical role in process improvements and automation.

The responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Build and maintain modeling of Compensation accounts for expense planning and forecasting support- coordinating input and interfacing with finance and business managers
  • Development and production of meaningful reports, metrics and analysis to facilitate in-depth understanding of results.
  • Participation in process improvement efforts to streamline the development of forecasts/plans including Finance related activities.
  • Drive strategic insights across the entire Expense team with a change-agent mindset
  • Own technology tools used by FP&A EIC for use in budgeting/forecasting processes, interface with FP&A Leadership and IT teams to ensure proper operations and resolve issues
  • Manage relationships across Finance & GHR

Education and Experience

  • Experience with Compensation expenses in a finance and/or accounting role preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 12-15 year’s progressive Finance/FP&A experience. State Street experience is a plus.
