About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly self-driven financial professional to join the team in a role offering autonomy and ongoing career opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Collect, interpret, analyse and review financial information
• Lead and coach the finance team
• Hold key relationship with offshore partners to ensure the support is given to the team and accountabilities are clear in improving operational finance.
• Manage cash flow, including financing facility monitoring and compliance
• Responsible for the overall management of timely and accurate financial reporting, providing insights to the business through analysis and the overall assurance on accounting processes through the monthly close. Account for any budget variances and report significant discrepancies
• Responsible for company risk management including internal control policy review and insurance renewal
• Responsible for Payroll and other HR compliance matters

About you
Whilst some exposure in Logistics and knowledge of the Expedient operating system, would be beneficial, we are open minded to the right candidate, who shares our work and company values.

This role requires an immediate start.

• CA or CPA qualified
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Advanced computer skills with MS Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage high volumes and a fast-paced environment
• Ability to priorities time, meet deadlines and use logic and initiative to solve problems.
• Good interpersonal skills in building positive working relationships with a wide range of people, and support offshore team
• A positive attitude and drive for continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt and learn new software systems
• Ability to lead and manage the team
