Accountant

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the teams from Finance and other departments in performing daily tasks and reporting
Manage cash flow and working capital with identification of risk spots and work directly with stakeholders on improvement actions
Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with internal and external reporting and compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and generally accepted accounting principles
•Ensures that the systems and procedures are complying with company policies, acceptable accounting practices, and applicable regulations
Review intercompany transactions and transfer pricing
Prepares analytical reports, and presents interpretation for management review
Review management reports, manage the monthly variance analysis and explanations on the financial performance
Preparation and submission of budget and forecast in accordance with the timeline
Liaisons with internal & external auditors, tax agent, company secretary and relevant parties for statutory and legislative requirements
Work with government authority with respect to tax incentive/allowances, grant, licences, etc.
Lead or participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by Management from time to time

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
Certified Public Accountant
Minimum 8 years finance work experience. Prior external audit experience is preferred but not a must.
Good knowledge of Local Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and International Financial Reporting Standards
Strong proficiency in SAP system and Microsoft Excel.
