Hales Group are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client based in the centre of Lowestoft. This is a full time position through to the end of 2022.
The ideal candidate for the role will be part-qualified, studying towards or plans to achieve this accreditation in the future. This is a great opportunity for a person looking to develop their skills and further their career in accounting and finance.
You will need to be proactive, organized and understand the importance of record keeping and meeting deadlines. In return there will be a wide range of experience available.

Required experience:
- Previous ownership of an end to end accounts payable function for a SME sized business, i.e. from ensuring correct delivery, accurate invoice input, through to timely supplier payments.
- Previously used ERP / accounting software
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Payroll
- VAT returns
- Management accounts input, i.e. balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries
- Process and systems improvement
- Immediate Start
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience
- Full time hours (preferable) - Monday to Friday
- Temporary until end of 2022
