The Payroll Clerk position reports directly into the Payroll Team Leader, and will be responsible for a range of duties. This position is based on site at the office in Liverpool but is offering hybrid working options as well. This position is available on an interim basis, and we are looking for the successful candidate to get started within the next few weeks.

Description
The core duties for this role on a day to day basis will include the following;
- Resolving payroll queries
- Providing prompt and accurate payments to staff
- Ensuring that Payroll is processed within agreed deadlines
- Liaising with staff and managers to communicate and solve queries
- Providing support to senior staff members
- Ad hoc payroll duties
- Administrative maintenance of the finance system
- Adhering to relevant payroll legislation
- Working as part of a team
Profile
The successful candidate for this position will ideally have previous experience processing payroll, however more junior applicants may also be considered. Strong administrative and IT skills are essential, along with an organised approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
