Your mission

Our Tax and Accounting department is growing and we are looking for people who are eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Our teams work hand-in-hand with our other lines of service to help our local and international clients in accounting, tax and corporate secretarial matters. We provide comprehensive assistance to companies seeking to set up in Luxembourg and provide continuing support during all their life (i.e. mergers, sales, liquidations, corporate restructuring, etc).

As a Manager/ Senior Manager Tax and Accounting Associate (m/f/d), you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage, develop and expand international and local clients portfolio; 
  • Review tax provision or tax returns;
  • Be part of tax due diligence process;
  • Answer to tax technical questions from clients in the framework of their compliance and structuring process;
  • Assist clients in tax disputes with the tax authorities;
  • Be in charge of day-to-day management of the client files for tax matters, including support to the accounting team;
  • Share your knowledge and coach more junior staff to contribute to their development. 
  • Propose innovative and value-added solutions; 
  • Coordinate with other PwC departments both in Luxembourg and abroad, and therefore use our global network in order to share and collaborate on issues that exceed your area of expertise; 
  • Support, manage and develop a team of highly skilled professionals; 
  • Give in-house and external training courses to our team members and to our clients and take part in conferences and events on specific topics.

Your profile

  • You have a 5-year degree in economics, law or accounting (or similar studies);
  • You demonstrate an experience of between 5 to 8 years within a tax compliance department; an experience within an accounting department will be considered as an asset;
  • You demonstrate ability to identify opportunities and a willingness to market services to existing and prospective clients;
  • You have a good knowledge of LUX GAAP. Understanding of other accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS, EU Directive), is an additional significant asset;
  • You have a good knowledge of the Luxembourg tax system. Understanding of the international tax system would be considered as an asset and applicable regulation (transfer pricing rules, ATAD, ..)
  • You are able to build strong and lasting relationships with your clients; 
  • You have an ability to manage, develop and retain a team of skilled tax professionals; 
  • You are committed and eager to share your knowledge with a young and multicultural team;
  • You are supportive of the use of technology;
  • You speak English fluently, French or German would be considered an asset.
