Audit
Your role is fundamental to ensuring that handlers are following processes correctly, making correct financial decisions and following best practises. You will work as part of a team, applying your skills and knowledge.

You will spend your time reviewing and assessing claims, liaising with handlers and their leaders to provide feedback, as well as working with TCHs to drive improvements.

You will be required you to provide support, give structured advice and guidance on results.

You will have communication, negotiation, and organisation skills, as well as being open to challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reviews of Injury and Complex Credit hire claims files to monitor leakage and other defined areas of process compliance, assisting with the process to measure the financial impact of non-compliance.

- Assess, report and advise on the management, control, and improvement of claims best practises.

- Developing and maintaining robust relationships with key stakeholders to influence, challenge and support the Claims Technical File Review, process, and business goals

- Technical File Reviews in designated key operational locations, reviewing live and closed claims files as required to identify process errors and areas of improvement

- Analysing Claims Technical File Review results and assisting with reporting; recommending appropriate corrective action and requirements, including development needs for claims handlers

- Linking in with Technical File Review peers and leaders, as well as operational process and training teams to identify and develop improvement opportunities and maintaining best practices

The Individual:

General:

- Good communication and organisation skills with excellent attention to detail

- Able to challenge standard thinking

- Passionate and self-motivated

Function specific:

- Technical experience in Operational Risk/Audit or related field within financial services

- Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders

- Proven ability to analyse and manage issues through to resolution

- Ability to build trustworthy relationships

- Excellent MS Excel skills and knowledge
