About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:
Certified copies of all qualifications must be produced at time of interview. Possession of tertiary qualifications in CPA/CA/CIA is a requirement and the successful applicant will have worked in the profession in a leadership/managerial role. Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution will only be accepted where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework. Have qualifications and/or adequate exposure in risk management and fraud and corruption control. Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia will be highly regarded.

About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:
- Demonstrated high level experience in the preparation of Strategic Internal Audit Plans and Annual Internal Audit Plans and the use of risk management to prioritise and plan audit programs.
- Demonstrated high-level technical skills and knowledge when conducting finance, compliance and performance audits and the use of appropriate audit methodologies and techniques to enhance operations.
- Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication skills including a collaborative approach to stakeholder management and an ability to partner with senior management and present reports and advice to various levels of stakeholders using relevant software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or in a co-sourced arrangement with contractors, to meet deadlines and deal with sensitive and highly protected information.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills when auditing complex systems.
- Sound knowledge of the CCC's Code of Ethics, Equal Employment Opportunities and legislation and standards governing public sector operations or demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
