The role is based in the West End, and the client are looking for a candidate that can join the team on a permanent basis as an Accounts Payable. The role offers lots of progression and develop opportunities and they are looking for a candidate that is studying towards their CIMA qualification.
Client Details
The client are a super-luxury hospitality business that are growing very quickly. The role has come about as the workload increased and the client are looking for an Accounts Payable to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Finance and will work alongside a number of different Purchase Ledger Clerks and Management Accountants to manage the day-to-day finances of various different sites. The role has lots of progression prospects and the company has a brilliant working culture.
Description
The successful Accounts Payable will:
- Processing of the Accounts Payable invoices
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and posting of the accruals and prepayments
- Preparing and processing of the payment run
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Regular interaction and solving queries for both internal & external senior stakeholders
- Ad hoc reporting
Profile
The successful Accounts Payable will:
- Have approximately 2-3 years' of experience within a finance function
- Studying towards their AAT, ACA or CIMA (preferred) qualification (essential)
- Previous experience of working on the accruals and prepayments
- Working knowledge of Sage X3 (desirable, not essential)
- Ability to prioritise, work independently and under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business
- Strong Excel skills
