How will I help?

As a Technology Audit Manager (Infrastructure and Cyber), you will be responsible for the planning and execution of selected technical technology audits across the Westpac Group.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the planning and execution of technology audits, including:
    • Identifying key technology risks within an audit unit and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of technology controls to manage those risks.
    • Documenting work performed and gathering sufficient and appropriate evidence to support conclusions and external review.
    • Completing audits on time and meeting quality standards.
    • Collaborating with colleagues and Group Audit teams on planning and execution of audits.
  • Prepare and discuss audit reports and complex issues with technology subject matter experts and senior management.
  • Continuously monitor business unit developments, activities, issue management, emerging risks or concerns.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and new regulations and how the related risks would impact the Group.
  • Participate in other Group Audit initiatives.
  • Educate business auditors and business management on technology risks.
  • Contribute to the annual IT audit plan and strategy.

What do I need?

We are looking for someone who ideally has the following knowledge and experience:
  • Undergraduate degree. Degree in Information Technology (IT) is desirable.
  • IT audit or risk experience in IT infrastructure, IT service management, and cyber security domains with exposure to the banking and finance sector ideally.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and relevant industry certifications from ISC2, CISCO, Microsoft, Red Hat or Amazon Web Services are highly desirable.
  • Technical experience in IT networks, servers (Windows, Linux, Unix), infrastructure (active directory, authentication services, Identify and Access Management (IAM) is desirable.
