Based in their Mid Cornwall offices (more detail on office locaiton to be explored on confidential application and discussion) the firm has grown through mainly organic, ongoing and sustained positive growth. The firm services a very wide ranging client base across varying sectors, wide ranging in size with largest clients into the tens of £millions in turnover. As a result of ongoing growth and planning for the future development of the firm, the partners are looking to bolster the team with this key, all round Audit/Accounts and 'General Practice' Senior Manager / Partner Designate. The successful individual will carve an influential role, playing a pivotal and major part in the future development of this firm. Description

Joining as a Senior Manager / Partner Designate you will have the expected responsibilities of managing a client portfolio, covering a wide range of business sectors and turnovers, delivering audit, accounting and wider services, providing business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. Alongside this, a key part of your role will involve actively becoming a part of the local business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firm. The opportunity therefore provides a genuine and clear opportunity to develop and progress into partnership and you will be able to demonstrate the associated skills required with the ability and desire to step up into this level of role.

Profile

You will be any of ACA, ACCA, CTA etc qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice. You will have skills managing a portfolio of mixed clients of growing, profitable limited companies and OMBs up to, or over the audit threshold with an all round grounding across audit, accounts, tax etc. You will be operating at around the 'Senior Manager' levels and looking for and seeking a clear opportunity to progress and step up into a Partner level role, on a negotiable and achievable timescale.

You may be from a South West accountancy firm, from any of small, medium/large independent firm size, or Top 50/ Top Tier firm background. You may also be looking to relocate to the South West in a long term lifestyle and career move seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession where you can develop towards partnership within in a leading firm of accountants in the region.

Job Offer
