Purpose of the Position

This position at Baxter will be part of a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization and act as an extension of the R&D Finance team. This role interacts with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team as well as in-country finance and business partners within the Americas Region and Global FP&A

This position will support monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecast processes. annual budgeting and the long-range plan. In addition, it will support value-added business analytics, process improvement projects, and ad-hoc initiatives.

Main Responsabilities

  • Working with the R&D and commercial markets to develop the budgets, forecasts, and LRP
  • Prepare standard reporting packages each period for R&D
  • Support Global R&D and business by providing analysis, reporting services, and presentation materials for the MRR, QRR, and Forecast scenarios
  • Forecast watershed & OCOS and upload information into the GBRD
  • Compare forecasts against budgets, prior year, and other scenarios
  • Maintain the Deal Model and the GST entity level Reporting
  • Performs variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make recommendations going forward
  • Completing ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with finance and business customers
  • Provide support to finance and R&D leaders
  • Load R&D expenses for budget and Forecast adjustments into the Financial Planning system

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Planning or Budgeting
  • English level: B2+ -C1
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office.
  • Highly desirable knowledge in BI tools
