Job Description

Brief Description of the Role

The role will involve support to Team leads and AFC in Dublin for daily activities and month end close including Journal Entry JE processing, standard ad hoc reporting, query and variance analysis preparation. In this role, the candidate will gain experience cross different areas including Tax, Skype, Intercompany, AFS and supporting projects as needed.


General responsibilities

  • Preparation and posting of journals
  • Management of the processes activities
  • Support wider One Finance Team
  • Assist with audit and stakeholder queries
  • Preparation review of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations in line with SOX requirements
  • Perform ad hoc duties example to support mini projects
  • Assist Team Lead with month end close activities as the need arises
  • Updating and maintaining desktop procedures as processes evolve and change

Requirements A part qualified accountant CPA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA Experience in working to tight deadlines Knowledge of SAP or similar accounting package required Knowledge of MS Office products, including Word and PowerPoint Intermediate Excel skills a necessity 2 year experience in an accounting finance environment Competencies Excellent Analytical skills essential Accurate and timely data entry skills essential Excellent communication skills both written and oral Ability to own responsibilities and processes Ability to prioritise work Ability to deliver agreed goals and results within the agreed timelines Positive attitude and flexibility Research and problem solving skills
