Sleigh & Story are a group of friendly and approachable accountants based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. Well established in the business community, we have a wide-ranging portfolio of clients and we are now looking to add a new member to our vibrant team!
The role we are looking to recruit to is of a senior accountant, who will handle a portfolio of clients providing accountancy and tax advice to LTD companies, partnerships, sole traders, LLPs and social enterprise businesses. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to form strong relationships with clients. The role will have a high level of autonomy and so candidates should be comfortable with planning and organising their workload accordingly.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate good management skills, as a senior member of the team.
Applicants should show a desire to build connections with others within the business community.
Suitable for part qualified or fully qualified ACCA.
This is an office-based role, although we offer flexibility through a flexitime system.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We have been awarded Platinum ACCA Approved Employer Status. This is the highest possible level recognising that we give our staff the best training and support.
Salary range of £28,000 - £35,000 with potential for bonuses.
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Develop strong relationships with clients and hold client meetings
- Review limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts
- Review corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns
- Manage assigned staff members
- Work effectively with other members of the Sleigh & Story team
- Increase accountancy software knowledge
