Description

Responsibility:

* Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial results and management reporting in compliance with IFRS and PRC GAAP.
* Regularly reporting of budget and forecast to senior management and/or Board of Directors.

* Ensure adequate internal controls and compliance. Work with external and internal auditors to improve the internal control system of the group.

* Maintain key business relationship with external joint venture partners and local government authorities including tax, SAFE and various regulatory agencies.

* Responsible for the treasury operations of the China group, including but not limiting to seeking optimise loan arrangement, high yield cash placement, and limiting forex exposure through liaising with key bankers. Efficient treasury and cash management to optimise returns and lower cost of capital and financing.

* As a member of FP China senior management team, key role in relationship management with shareholders, and joint venture partners.

* Responsible for presentation of various profit and loss and cash flow scenarios, including stress test scenarios and management accounts to senior management team.

* Responsible for providing strategic financial advice to CEO and Business Development team.

* Advice on key terms and clauses in contracts with Joint Venture partners, and M&A deals.

* Supports and provides advice to CEO in various negotiations with business partners.

* Tax planning and working with legal for structuring of optimal holding structure for our investments in China.

* Member of the Tender Committee that appoints all contractors and sub-Contractors.

* Ad-hoc support in contract and variation order negotiations or disputes with contractors.

* Managing and ensuring optimize cost control of all project companies and business units in China.
* Oversee the IT department and digitalisation of the China operations for efficiencies.

Profile

• Fluent English speaking is requiried
• Real estate development project experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with good leadership is needed
