Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will join the executive leadership team and drive outcomes for the Victorian Ombudsman.

The Victorian Ombudsman is seeking a SES 1 Chief Financial Officer who will lead the annual budget preparation, payroll, annual financial statement and acquittals preparation, annual asset management audit, policy development and rollout in line with the Financial Management Act (1994), Standing Directions of the Finance Minister and Resource Management Framework, oversight of the internal and external audit program, and other duties, in line with the VO's budget independent status.

Available opportunity:
  • SES 1
  • $207,116 - $267,445 per annum
  • plus 10.5% employer superannuation contribution
  • Full-time, fixed-term (min. 3 years)
  • Hybrid working model - flexibility to work onsite and from home
