About the Team

Financial Services (FS) is responsible for financial management frameworks of the Commonwealth Bank incorporating the areas of finance, audit, group treasury, security, property, procurement, and investor relations.

The Finance Transformation team run by the COO Finance responsibilities include management of risk and control, inclusive of advisory services and delivery, financial services transformation and management of global finance systems inclusive of system changes, financial control and subsidiary reporting.

As part of Finance Transformation you will be responsible for the management of various applications on behalf of Group Procurement and Group Property. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide management, maintenance and control on Finance transformation applications (ETL’s)
• Responsible for uplifting of transformation applications functionality (managing various projects)
• Provide control functions across Finance data within various group data stores (OMNIA/GDW1/GDW2)
• Provide control functions across Finance Reporting application (Essbase) inclusive of daily system and data accuracy validations
• Provide management, maintenance and control functions across CBA’s Group General Ledger, Accounts payable, Asset Management, Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
• Responsible for delivering finance integration from customer/payment/other sources to CBA Group General Ledger for all Group and BU priority projects.
• Development/migration of financial systems solutions to support business re-organisational changes and uplifts of existing platforms.

We're interested in hearing from people who have: 

• Large finance systems project experience including general ledger and reconciliation
• Financial Services industry experience
• Cross Functional Management - Multiple Business Units
• Project and change management experience in a large organization across business, technology and finance
• Problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• SQL or similar Experience
• Process improvement skills
• Great influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing landscape to agile timelines
