Management Accountant

Michael Page has partnered with Perth's largest Agricultural company to support them on a 6-Month contract role for a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Manager in the Operations Finance team, the role will provide accurate & timely reporting, financial & accounting support, analysis and insight to Senior leaders within the Operations business unit.

Description

If successful for this role, you will be responsible for:

• Complete assigned month-end reporting & reconciliation tasks

• Provide financial support, analysis and insight to the groups Operations division

• Support the financial year end close and interact with auditors

• Support the quarterly forecasting and budgeting processes

• Provide input to business process changes from a financial perspective

• Participate in Group projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Profile

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

• A tertiary degree in accounting or similar

• Completion, or working towards completion of CA or CPA qualification

• Committed and energetic

• Positive & proactive attitude

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Strong analytical ability

• Excellent communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently & effectively in a team environment

• Budgeting and forecasting experience

• Advanced excel skills
