Leading Global Manufacturer based near Truro - looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. The right Finance Manager for the role will be from a solid manufacturing background, and worked within a Global matrixed organisation.

Description

• All aspects of financial management and financial reporting for the UK
• Cost control and analysis for all levels of management
• Secure compliance with the local UK GAAP, US GAAP and all corporate policies with financial relevance
• Realise the strategies within the Finance Department and develop accordingly
• Representation of financial issues as a member of the Senior Management Team
• Manufacturing controlling and product costing (drive plant efficiencies)
• Working Capital Management and Treasury
• Coordination of the budget planning process, analysis of the forecasts and preparation of the consolidated budget plan
• Secure proper tax accounting for UK entities
• Intercompany accounting

Profile

Professional Accountancy Qualification

• Ability to demonstrate experience in a comparable business, acquired ideally in an international environment
• Sound knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP (plus ideally IFRS)
• Good knowledge of SAP /R3 FI/ CO is desirable (hands on)
• Strong analytical skills, presentation skills as well as excellent communication skills
• Distinct leadership skills
• Good understanding of a production environment
• Strong management skills and social competencies

Job Offer

£45k - £55k + Car/Car Allowance & bonus
