Client Details
The client is a European MNC that is one of the world's largest suppliers for F&B and Pharmaceutical industries. They have a global presence in over 60 countries, and has been in service for over 140 years.
Description
- Organize monthly Project Review Meetings to liaise and collaborate with Head of Project Execution, Project Managers and Project Engineers to evaluate the financial performance and cash flow of the projects.
- Analyse project performance and review KPIs including POC sales and Gross Margin. Identify areas for improvement and risks.
- Suggest changes and improvements in the project controlling process.
- Monitor changes in project planned cost and cost to complete the project.
- Prepare and conduct analysis on presentations and Management Reports.
- Prepare the reports (and consolidated reports) for open project information following the Group's reporting instruction & guideline, and submit Group reporting on time
- Assist Finance team to perform SAP month-end settlement process to ensure timely financial closing and reporting.
- Assist finance team lead in preparing forecast and budgets
- Any ad-hoc projects as required.
Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in Project Accounting using SAP Project System module.
- Qualified accounting certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in handling manufacturing and production related projects, with involvement in Project Review Meetings.
- Good communication skills required to liaise with Project managers, engineers and Head of Project Execution to report on project performance.
- Able to work independently, meticulously and is proactive in self-improvement in the job role.
- Strong SAP skills required as candidate would be required to use SAP on a daily basis.
- Excel and PowerPoint skills required to deal with data and for management reports.
