An exciting opportunity exists to join the Strategic Projects Finance Team as a Senior Business Analyst and be responsible for the development of project financial performance management reporting, data collection arrangements and reporting systems for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS), including the identification and analysis of underlying cost drivers with a focus on financial data.

- Undertake detailed analysis of Human Resource and Financial data to inform the Digital Health Projects team of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service including the preparation and presentation of detailed monthly financial management reports.
- Management of financial reporting of project budgets and funding sources.
- Develop operating and capital financial reporting systems and data collection arrangements/networks focussing on identifying assets and recognising costs correctly.
- Prepare reports that provide professional support, advice and recommendations to the Finance Manager and Project managers in relation to project and portfolio budget and financial reporting;
- Management of project financial reporting for tangible and intangible assets, work in progress and direct asset purchases. Using the current accounting standards and SCHHS policies to identify tangible and intangible assets and account for them correctly.
- Identifying recurrent costs and ensure budget considerations have been made.
