We are recruiting for a Group Finance Analyst to join the Group FP&A Team who are responsible for carrying out strategic performance analysis, providing critical insight and concise analysis of business performance across our Banners to generate meaningful discussion and management action at Executive level.

As the Group Finance Analyst you will support the team to deliver insightful analysis to key partners, preparation of board and Executive level presentations and support the production of strategic plans, forecasts and budgets. The role requires elements of business partnering with mainly Finance stakeholders across operating companies and Global Functions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of high quality, concise and insightful P&L and cashflow analysis for senior partners on variances, key themes and longer-term trends
• Design charts, tables and dashboards to present sophisticated financial information in a concise manner
• Prepare slides and analysis suitable for Board and Exec level presentations
• Develop and use excel based analysis to generate insight on key performance questions using data sourced from multiple sources and in multiple currencies
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Consolidate data from financial systems and offline spreadsheets using multiple currencies
• Cashflow and CAPEX reporting and analysis across banners and Group functions
• Establish relationships with key partners across the business
• Adhoc analysis to support other business functions

Skills Required

• Qualified accountant
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Aptitude and strong interest in financial analysis and visualisation (Excel/ PowerPoint/ BI tools)
• Strong desire to work in a fast-moving environment
• Naturally curious with a desire to question and challenge information presented
• Can take direction and will look to implement modelling best practice in their tasks
• Requires a composed individual, up for a challenge, flexible, who understands the trade-offs needed to deliver results in a fast moving and uncertain environment
