Basic Purpose

Reporting to an Officer, the Associate 1 is responsible for ensuring compliance with operating policies, procedures and guidelines in relation to bank loans processing, Loan Trade processing, confirmation and lifecycle management.

This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of a growing global team, the candidate should have good communication skills and technical expertise.

Major Responsibilities

Trade File Processing:

  • Processing trade file transmitted by the Fund daily on trade-date.

Trade Confirmation:

  • Verifying loan trades to LMA/LSTA and processing trade settlement based on funding memos

Trade Lifecycle management:

  • Processing of loan lifecycle such as Interest, Paydowns, PIK, Drawdowns etc via receipt of agent notices.

Reconciliations

  • Review and resolve daily reconciliation breaks by liaising the client and NAV teams as required.

Pricing

  • Ensuring Loans are pricing in accordance with the pricing matrix.

Controls

  • Sign off on end of day process and check lists
  • Ensure self and team complies with risk, regulation and compliance programs and applicable laws and regulatory requirements
  • During the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business related area (minimum 2.2 honors degree
  • IT Literate

Additional requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Very good English
  • Highly numerate
  • Ability to perform effectively within strict client deadlines
