Page Personnel are recruiting for a Finance Analyst on behalf of a well known FMCG business with this role based in the Wigan office.
The role of the Finance Analyst is to provide support & leverage to the Finance Co-Ordinator in managing the local finance department and improving site performance.

Description
Duties will include:
- Period close cycle, forecast accuracy and delivering the plan
- Coordination and delivery of period closing and forecasting activities and related reports and analyses;
- Support in delivering budgets, targets and strategic plans;
- KPI reporting including challenging internal organization to reach the targets
- Ensure full and timely management information and performance measurements against KPI's and financial targets.
- Provide insightful and actionable analysis as needed;
- Challenge internal performance against KPI's and targets;
- SRM support for cost centre and ZBB imputation
- Work on own initiative to drive improvements and efficiencies in ways of working and reporting structures;
- Support and deliver inputs to factory projects
- Blocked Invoice management together with requestors and accounts payable team
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong analytical skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to plan & priorities effectively
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Be a graduate at Bachelors or Masters level in Business, Economics, Accounting or Engineering - desirable
