Page Personnel are recruiting for a Credit Controller on behalf of a growing utilities business based in Salford.
The purpose of this role is to assist with the end to end credit control process and will play a key role in ensuring cash flow in to the business.

Description
Credit Controller duties will include:
- Management of ledgers and key customers
- Contacting customers to obtain payment by telephone and email
- Timely and accurate invoicing and ensuring credit requests are actioned with the agreed SLA
- Manage all invoices frequencies including credits and returns to ensure they are cleared in a timely manner
- Regular account reconciliations
- Working with other departments to resolve any escalated payment or billing queries
- Provide weekly updates on customer debtors status to the Finance Manager
- Provide cash flow information on payments received and due
- Month end reporting and monitoring of KPI's
- Obtaining sufficient information to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers ensuring the system is updated.
- Creating and maintaining process/how to guides for all tasks undertaken
- Advise on problems and suggest process improvements
- Any other Ad hoc tasks as required
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record in a credit control or collections position
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work alone or as part of a team
- Be confident in picking up the phone
- Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
