Moray House School of Education and Sport - Finance

Open ended/Full time (35 hours per week)

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the finance business partnering team within College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, based at Moray House School of Education of Sport.

We are looking for finance professionals to deliver an outstanding finance business partnering service to our stakeholders. Finance Business Partners will work closely with senior management teams providing strategic insight, analysis and advice to deliver sustainable financial performance aligned with the University's 2030 Strategy.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Be a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant, preferably with a degree or HND in a relevant discipline with previous relevant experience including some team leadership or management.

Experience of managing projects and budgets and providing insightful analysis and advice to stakeholders

Proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to explain finance concepts and the implications of financial decision to stakeholders

Good inter-personal and time management skills and able to influence others

Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively to manage activities and projects
