About the Role

As the SMSF Accountant/Specialist, you will work within a team of SMSF experts to deliver exceptional results for our clients. You will apply your strong technical knowledge, working across a diverse client base in a rewarding role.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and work papers
  • Reconciliation of investments and bank accounts
  • Establishment of new SMSF's
  • Preparation of pension documentation
  • Build and maintain client relationships, assisting with general queries
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior team members
  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to provide an integrated client service
  • Produce a consistent high standard of work that meets all regulatory and legislative requirements and follow our internal procedures
Skills and Experience

Exciting career opportunity for someone with an interest in SMSF or an experienced SMSF Accountant/Specialist.

Some of the skills, experience, and attributes that you would bring to the role are:
  • Relevant experience in SMSF Administration/Accounting or Business Services Accounting
  • CA/CPA qualified or near completion (desirable)
  • Strong technical accounting skills and compliance knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Team player, with a positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
