Duties will include:
- Support finance department across all functions as needed (accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit and F&B cost control).
- Work on one off ad hoc projects as and when required..
- Work closely with Finance Supervisor and Assistant Director of Finance to provide ongoing support.
- Support nominated departments at month end with accrual checks and processing, P&L corrections, information requests and any other support as assigned by Assistant Director of Finance/Finance Supervisor.
- Follow Marriott International and Hotel Local policies, procedures, and audit programs.
- Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress/uniforms, and hygiene.
- Communicate with all departmental managers and associates in professional and supportive manner.
- Maintain a positive attitude to always work duties and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications required:
- Degree
- A Levels grades A-C.
- Accounting Finance or Hospitality qualification would also be beneficial.
Skills required:
- Administration experience.
- Excel skills to intermediate level.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs.
- Opera and Micros experience preferred but not essential.
- Hotel operations experience preferred but not essential.
Personal qulities:
- Timeliness and accuracy in recording and reporting.
- Ability to follow procedures and LSOPs closely.
- Security and safety in work habits.
- Hands on approach required.
- Develop and train other associates.
- Flexible team player and strong communicator.
- Willingness to learn and develop as training will be provided.
