Source to Pay System Administrator (Senior Analyst)

Summary

Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for supporting the internal NT Stakeholders and Procurement teams. Responsible for the process, systems and the data across Source to pay process. Responsible for communications and working directly with Process owners to obtain adequate information. Maintain global practice and change management.

Major Duties

  • Assists in leading and managing global supply chain management and procurement projects
  • Manages process, functionalities and capabilities of end-to-end procurement systems
  • Provides consulting for improvements of global policies, programs and processes
  • Leads Training Partners within and outside Procurement
  • Carries out complex activities with significant financial, vendor, and/or internal business impact
  • Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
  • Creates Training Materials, FAQ, WebEx Tutorials and Process guides for overall Procurement Process
  • Works on projects and develops project leadership skills
  • Performs Root Cause Analysis to identify and fix the issues with delay in invoice payment and/or Purchase Requisition creation process error
  • Supports system development and provides process improvement ideas to make the process more effective
  • Looks for more opportunities to improve Process efficiency by reducing manual efforts
  • Always keen to learn and explore through new processes and improvement ideas
  • Maintain catalogs and categories in Procurement system

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement is required.
  • Analytical, project management, product management and problem solving skills are required.
  • Technical skills/systems knowledge (e.g. MS Office Suites with advanced Excel skills, ERP systems/Peoplesoft/Coupa) is required.
  • Demonstrates solid time management skills and developing prioritization skills.
  • Excellent Presentation and Training Skills.
  • Should be flexible and can support end to end process at any given point of time based on the requirements.

Experience

  • A College/University degree in Supply Chain or Finance and/or other appropriate academic major is preferred, or the equivalent number of years of experience is required
  • 5+ years of Procurement/System Admin Experience
