Source to Pay Administrator

Summary –

Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for supporting the internal NT Stakeholders and Procurement teams. Responsible for the process, systems and the data across Source to pay process. Responsible for communications and working directly with Process owners to obtain adequate information. Maintain global practice and change management.

Major Duties -

  1. Carries out complex activities with significant process, system, and/or internal business impact
  2. May have direct interaction with Procurement process owners and/or Senior Management
  3. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
  4. May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)
  5. More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
  6. Delivers a work product that requires less revision
  7. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
  8. Assists in leading and managing global supply chain management and procurement projects
  9. Manages process, functionalities and capabilities of end-to-end procurement systems
  10. Provides consulting for improvements of global policies, programs and processes
  11. Leads Training Partners within and outside Procurement
  12. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, vendor, and/or internal business impact
  13. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
  14. Creates Training Materials, FAQ, WebEx Tutorials and Process guides for overall Procurement Process
  15. Works on projects and develops project leadership skills
  16. Performs Root Cause Analysis to identify and fix the issues with delay in invoice payment and/or Purchase Requisition creation process error
  17. Supports system development and provides process improvement ideas to make the process more effective
  18. Looks for more opportunities to improve Process efficiency by reducing manual efforts
  19. Always keen to learn and explore through new processes and improvement ideas
  20. Maintain catalogs and categories in Procurement system

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • In-depth Functional/Industry Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement is required
  • Analytical, project management, product management and problem solving skills are required
  • Technical skills/systems knowledge (e.g. MS Office Suites with advanced Excel skills, ERP systems/Peoplesoft/Coupa) is required
  • Demonstrates solid time management skills and developing prioritization skills
  • Prior knowledge on commodity code structure creation would be an added advantage
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Technical skills/systems knowledge is required

Experience Required

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required / preferred. Related Industry qualification is required / preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of system administrator experience required
