Senior Associate – Accounting & Tax Services

Redwood Global Services (Karachi Office) supports local tax teams across the Canada region remotely. The opportunity is to assist the Canada local offices with tax compliance activities to ensure that our clients remains tax compliant. The key focus will be on achieving quality, efficiencies and standardization in our work and delivering value to clients.

You will work hand in hand with our tax and accounting professionals to help deliver our clients’ compliance and reporting needs. You will also establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships with clients to help ensure that the services delivered are of the highest standards and are done on time.

As Senior Associate – Accounting & Tax Services you will be required:

• To work on financials of clients including manage the delivery of corporate and individual’s tax compliance after thorough review of their accounting records; and Responsible for the day-to-day execution of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables as per the standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate and follow performance-improvement solutions.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of MS-Word, Excel & PowerPoint with in depth understanding of financial & tax accounting & accounting treatments. He should have good experience of preparation of financial statements, experience of compilation engagement will be preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

Managing client relationship and making sure that deliverables are being sent to client in timely basis;

Through review of financials before preparation of tax returns;

Knowledge and experience of preparation of financials using bank statements;

Building strong relationships with the team and client representatives;

Knowledge of audit and tax software; and

Knowledge of MS-Office Suite
