Indirect Tax
- Perform indirect tax compliance.
- Provide support for tax audits and answer to inquiries from the tax authorities.
- Provide indirect tax training for relevant stakeholders.
- Support superior in ad-hoc projects including but not limited to standardization / documentation of processes and controls for indirect tax liaise, communicate and resolve queries from other business functions from time to time.
- Stay current with changes in tax law.
Asset Management
- Consolidate of Capex and ROI forecast / budget submissions.
- Running month end actuals for Capex.
- Other ad hoc analysis / query resolution for ROI and Capex.
- Fixed asset list maintenance and administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional qualification in Accountancy.
- 2 to 3 years related working experience in auditing & taxation firms.
- Good proficiency in office applications such as MS Excel and accounting software.
- Experience in manufacturing industry and knowledge in SAP will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of tax compliance cycle and knowledge of tax, SST / GST and custom regulations.
- Experience in application and reporting for tax incentive is an added advantage.
- Proactive and able to perform in a fast paced high pressure environment.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
