Here at Serco, due to growth within our organisation we are seeking an experienced IT Assurance Manager to join our IT Risk and Assurance team. The ideal candidate for this role will be acting as a dedicated Risk & Control Manager for the IT functions across the group helping the wider management team in implementing and embedding the Group's IT GRC management framework.

In this role, you will also:
• Act as a focal point and escalation route for IT colleagues; driving risk management culture and IT GRC excellence through regular interactions with people across the organisation.
• Agree templates, review and write risks and controls, develop test and assurance plans
• Conduct testing of RACM's and drive continuous improvement of the IT control estate.
• Analyse, document and provide an understanding of IT risk profiles and key processes for the relevant business areas and, where appropriate, complete targeted risk assessments in conjunction with the business.

What you'll need to do the role

First and foremost, you'll need to have experience of working within a technology Risk and Assurance managerial role. You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately across all 3 Lines of Defence. You will be able to demonstrate experience of supporting development and implementation/maintenance of IT Risk and Assurance Frameworks. You will be able to engage with senior stakeholders at all levels to shape and develop IT Controls assurance programme. Lastly, you will have an innovative approach to problem solving and be able to provide constructive challenge.
