Accountant (Controller) - MNC (Retail)

As an Accountant, you will lead your team to achieve accurate and timely month end closing of accounts.

Our client is one of the leading travel retailer of luxury products with a global presence and has operations in more than 400 locations.

Description

• Ensure month-end and year-end closing processes are executed in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparation and analysis of monthly management and financial reports as well as internal and external schedules/reports
• Reviewing account reconciliation of sub ledgers to general ledger and other balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify areas with exposure to risk and offer strategies to limit risks
• Provide timely support and collaborate with other departments to achieve goals
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external auditors
• Provide guidance to team members, and manage their career development
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, or equivalent
• 3 years of GL, consolidation or audit experience
• Proficient in MS Office such as Excel and Word
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, team-oriented and resourceful
