Background
The CGW Banking and Lending Chief Operating Officer leads and supports the execution of transformation, integration and strategic growth initiatives; co-ordinates across all key stakeholders of the banking and lending business to define, track and implement tactical and strategic technology and platform initiatives; co-ordinates business planning and analytics to enable effective business management and decision making; shapes and supports execution of the strategic priorities of the banking and lending business
This role will be to support the key strategic initiatives of the CGW Banking and Lending business and will typically be very varied in nature. The business analyst will be expected to follow up and support the complex and timely strategic initiatives coming out of the Global Wealth Management COO office. The role will be on hand to support the business through this transition and going forward with a number of key initiatives.

The ideal candidate:
- Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies;
- Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information;
- Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact.;
- Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results;
- Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
- In addition, developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities is expected. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of the team and other closely related teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with the COO team to contribute to the key strategic initiatives of the Banking and Lending business
- Organizes day to day key business initiatives by providing support and follow up where needed
- Strong in presentation skills where needed to provide support to the COO team
- Highly structured with an ability to follow up and drive results from projects and initiatives
- Ability to communicate clearly including strong presentation skills/putting together presentation decks
- Strong analytical skills to quickly and easily analyze data and key trends for the COO office.
