This position works very closely with the General Manager and Executive Director for the Bardy Diagnostic business unit to support decisions around revenue forecasting, R&D spending, operating budgets, and long-term planning.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Create models to improve the accuracy of forecasting and budgeting and drive investment evaluation and prioritization
  • Prepare the business unit’s rolling forecast, long range financial plans, cost accounting, strategic analysis, market analysis, statistical reporting, and other analyses as directed
  • Develop an understanding of the key revenue and profitability drivers and use insights to drive financial results
  • Supporting business leadership team with various analytical projects including variance analysis for sales, margins, SG&A, revenue cycle operations and capex planning
  • Work with Department heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
  • Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Prepare monthly dashboard of operating results, trends, and metrics for the executive team
  • Represent the group on special task forces, cross-divisional teams, working groups

What You'll Bring:

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial modeling experience - Candidates are expected to be comfortable constructing a full three statement financial model from scratch. They should have experience in developing and thinking through their own assumptions and creating a product that is easily navigable and dynamic enough to sensitize quickly. They should possess advanced Excel skill sets including pivots, lookups, index, macros, and advanced formulas
  • Skilled in creating presentations - Another key aspect of the FP&A analyst role will be driving the creation of new presentations for both internal and external use. Candidates should have experience crafting PowerPoint documents that convey information in a manner that is easy to follow and formatted well. Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier accredited University or College in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field. CPA, CGA, CMA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including financial statement design
  • 7+ years prior work experience with a proven track record of success
  • Past work experience in an accounting firm or audit function, preferred
  • Past work experience in a new commercial enterprise confronting rapid growth, preferred
