We are recruiting for the position of Accounts/Finance Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge for bookkeeping, statutory accounting, and basic corporate and income tax, have a ‘can do’ approach, a keen focus on client service, and a willingness to learn.

Key duties

  • Prepare management accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Prepare statutory financial statements to comply with IFRS and Companies Act regulations
  • Prepare tax computations to facilitate corporate income tax, personal income tax, and GST filings
  • Work with clients to manage their compliance timetable with ACRA, IRAS, and other regulatory authorities
  • Internal project delivery of process improvement and sharing technical training with the wider Finance Team
  • Ad hoc projects

Key attributes

  • Accountancy qualifications – relevant university degree and professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, ISCA, CIMA)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and generate ideas is essential
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel and Word) and a willingness to learn accounting software applications
  • Knowledge of Xero is preferred but not essential
