The Role

We are currently looking for an accountant or lawyer to join our Tax Knowledge Management (TKM) team. The selected candidate will report to the TKM head.

Over the past years, TKM has proved to be an indispensable support service for our tax professionals and has great ambition to deliver more. 

Duties:

• Assist client-facing tax professionals in the delivery of an effective and efficient tax service from a tax technical perspective;
• Ensure that tax professionals are well-versed with the latest tax developments;
• Responsible for the collection, recording, management and dissemination of tax knowledge within the Tax function; and
• Be involved in establishing and contributing to the firm’s positions on the interpretation of tax law.​

This role gives the opportunity to the selected candidate to have technical exposure and also the opportunity to interact with technical experts in different fields of tax law.​

This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for tax and knowledge sharing who do not wish to take up or remain in an external client-facing role.​

The Right Fit

• Fully qualified accountant or lawyer;
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in tax law including Maltese tax;
• Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively; 
• Analytical skills;
• Team player;
• Desire to keep on learning and developing within the taxation sphere.
