Core Operations, Senior Associate
Who we are looking for
Working under the general supervision, the incumbent will perform assigned processing duties as they relate to Check Operations. Tasks include pay or reject decisions on checks hitting the exception queue, escalating issues as needed or required to clients for input, and ownership of the unpostable general ledger for any items that cannot be applied to a valid account. Also included in this role are tasks related to account analysis and billing using a custom database.

What you will be responsible for
As Senior Associate you will
- Research, reconciliation, and resolution of General Ledger balances
- Assist in daily check operations processes and meet established deadlines
- Work with both internal and external clients to confirm and apply check decisions
- Receive and apply billing updates to custom billing application
- Update and follow standard operating procedures
- Assist in ad hoc projects and system upgrades
- Research and respond to client inquiries timely and accurately

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or experience in Banking preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in virtual meeting applications – Teams, Zoom, Webex
